BlocBlinds is an award-winning, design-led manufacturer that has redefined expectations in a traditionally conventional industry. Founded in Northern Ireland, the business has built an international reputation for product innovation, engineering excellence and intelligent design. With products such as BlocOut — developed to improve sleep quality and comfort in homes and workplaces — Bloc Blinds has established itself as a recognised leader in intelligent window-covering solutions, combining strong product development capability with growing brand recognition and increasing commercial traction across multiple markets.

Part of the wider Bloc Group, the company operates internationally with a rapidly expanding e-commerce platform, robust manufacturing capability and a strong pipeline of innovation designed to support continued market growth. Following the founder’s transition into a broader Group leadership role, Bloc Blinds is now seeking to appoint a Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of commercial expansion and organisational development.

Reporting to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will assume full P&L responsibility and lead the development and execution of a clear commercial growth strategy. Key priorities include:

  • Accelerating revenue growth through expanded e-commerce channels
  • The development of strategic partnerships
  • The continued growth of international markets

The Managing Director will identify new opportunities for market penetration, strengthen routes to market and ensure the business capitalises on its strong product platform and brand potential. The Managing Director will utilise best in class manufacturing to build the operational platform required to support scale. This will include introducing greater operational cadence and data-led decision making while leading the next phase of manufacturing capability, including planned investment in robotics and automation.

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven leader with a proven track record of using this commercial ambition to scale a manufacturing or product-led SME. The successful candidate will combine strong strategic and commercial instincts with operational credibility, and the ability to build high-performing teams, robust systems and a culture capable of delivering sustainable growth.

This represents a rare opportunity to lead a distinctive and innovative business at a pivotal point in its development, shaping its commercial trajectory while operating within an ambitious and growing group environment. This leadership appointment offers a competitive executive remuneration and benefits package, including long-term incentive arrangements aligned with shareholder value creation.

To apply, or for further information, please send your CV, quoting reference 26010, to Ciaran Sheehan, Managing Partner, Clarendon Executive. Application deadline: Monday, 13 April 2026. Our client is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
