Reporting directly to the CEO, this position has been created to bring the finance function in-house from a previous group shared services environment.

It offers a rare opportunity to play a leading role in establishing a modern, commercially focused finance function from the ground up, with a clear mandate to improve reporting, controls and business performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Full ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely, accurate and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leading the development of live financial reporting through Microsoft Business Central, alongside the implementation of meaningful Power BI dashboards and KPI metrics across the business.
  • Taking a lead in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cashflow management, providing clear analysis and recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Focusing on cost control, margin improvement, and driving commercial insight across operations.

We are seeking a commercially astute, hands-on and forward-thinking finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong technical management accounting expertise, alongside experience of ERP systems, finance transformation, and reporting improvement. The ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced SME environment will be essential.
