Connected strategy sets out ambitious plans to transform public transport in Northern Ireland through the implementation of new technology and a number of significant capital projects intended to meet the organisations Climate Action pledge by 2040.

At this time of growth, the organisation is seeking to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer to support the business in moving forward with its ambitious agenda.

Reporting to the Group Chief Executive, the Group CFO is a member of the Translink Senior Leadership Team and advisor to the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHCo) Board.

The Group Chief Financial Officer will contribute to the development of Translinks business strategy and the delivery of corporate and statutory objectives, sharing corporate responsibility for the governance of Translink.

The Group CFO will lead a large multi-disciplinary team of c150 staff and take lead responsibility for a range of functions related to the Groups finance activities. .

The Group CFO is the lead advisor to the Groups Board, Senior Leadership Team, and Executive Management Team on all financial matters.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned commercially focused financial professional who has operated at executive level within a large complex organisation leading multi-disciplinary teams to drive best in class financial management.

Experience of influencing and successfully collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes is a key success factor in this role.
