Northern Ireland Ambulance Service HSC Trust (NIAS) is seeking to appoint an Executive Director of Finance, Procurement, Fleet & Estates to provide strategic leadership across these critical functions. This is a senior system leadership post, with responsibility for financial sustainability, transformation and delivery of impact across the wider HSC system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Trust's financial and resource strategy, ensuring financial stewardship, sustainability, strong governance and the delivery of high-quality, value-based care.
  • Oversee the effective management of significant revenue and capital budgets.
  • Ensure robust governance, assurance, risk management and statutory compliance.
  • Contribute to and influence regional financial planning across the HSC system.
  • Develop effective partnerships with government, commissioning and provider organisations.
  • Contribute fully to corporate leadership and decision-making as a Trust Board member.
