- The Care Assistant Role
- Your duties will vary depending on whether you work days or nights and may include:
- Providing all aspects of personal care
- Supporting residents with daily activities
- Assisting residents at mealtimes
- Helping residents prepare for bed
- Supporting residents to get up and ready in the morning
- Promoting residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing
- Senior Care Assistant / Med-Tech Responsibilities
- As a Senior Care Assistant or Med-Tech, you may also be responsible for:
- Overseeing and supporting other care workers
- Helping to ensure the smooth running of the service
- Administering prescribed medication in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Responding appropriately to emergencies
- Providing guidance and support to Care Assistants
- Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff

Training and Development

Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care , or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.

Additional Information
An enhanced DBS check will be required. The cost will be met by Clarendon Care Group Ltd, subject to terms and conditions.
