We're looking for a reliable and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Your role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contracted hours: 24 hours per week
Location: Thickthorn Close, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2AF
Working alongside the cook and care team, you will help prepare and serve food while maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen. You will:
- Help with food preparation and the presentation of meals, snacks and drinks.
- Support meal service, following guidance on residents' individual dietary needs and allergens.
- Wash up and clean kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
- Help put away deliveries and rotate stock safely.
- Follow food hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
Your attention to detail and willingness to help will support a mealtime experience that residents can look forward to.
What you'll bring
Previous kitchen experience is welcome, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important. We'll support you with training to help you carry out your duties confidently.
