Cook who takes pride in good food and wants to make a positive difference as part of our friendly team.
Your role
Working with the kitchen and care teams, you'll prepare and cook appealing meals that meet residents' individual needs and preferences. You will:
- Prepare, cook and present a variety of nutritious meals, snacks and refreshments.
- Follow residents' dietary plans, including allergies, special diets and texture requirements, with guidance from the care team.
- Listen to residents' preferences and help make mealtimes enjoyable.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and safe food storage.
- Help manage stock, rotate supplies and minimise food waste.
- Keep required kitchen records and work with colleagues to deliver a smooth meal service.

What you'll bring

- Confidence preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen.
- A Level 3 food hygiene certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of allergens and safe food handling.
