- The Care Assistant Role
- Your duties will vary depending on whether you work days or nights and may include:
- Providing all aspects of personal care
- Supporting residents with daily activities
- Assisting residents at mealtimes
- Helping residents prepare for bed
- Supporting residents to get up and ready in the morning
- Promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing
- Senior Care Assistant / Med-Tech Responsibilities
- As a Senior Care Assistant or Med-Tech, you may also be responsible for:
- Overseeing and supporting other care workers
- Helping to ensure the smooth running of the service
- Administering prescribed medication in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Responding appropriately to emergencies
- Providing guidance and support to Care Assistants
- Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff

We will support you at every stage of your role by providing training and care -development opportunities.
Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care , or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
However, the most important qualities are a genuine desire to care, empathy towards elderly residents and a commitment to progressing your career in this rewarding field.
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS check will be required. The cost will be met by Clarendon Care Group Ltd, subject to terms and conditions.
