We're looking for a caring and organised Cook who takes pride in good food and wants to make a positive difference as part of our friendly team.
Your role
Pay: £14.00 per hour

Location: St Johns Street, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 8QT
Working with the kitchen and care teams, you'll prepare and cook appealing meals that meet residents' individual needs and preferences. You will:
- Prepare, cook and present a variety of nutritious meals, snacks and refreshments.
- Follow residents' dietary plans, including allergies, special diets and texture requirements, with guidance from the care team.
- Listen to residents' preferences and help make mealtimes enjoyable.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and safe food storage.
- Help manage stock, rotate supplies and minimise food waste.
- Keep required kitchen records and work with colleagues to deliver a smooth meal service.

What you'll bring
You'll bring practical cooking experience, an understanding of food safety and a genuine interest in supporting older people's wellbeing. Experience in a care setting is welcome.
- Confidence preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and safe food handling.
- A thoughtful approach to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Good organisation and the ability to work calmly during busy services.
- Clear communication, teamwork and a caring, respectful manner.
We'll support you with mandatory training and opportunities to develop your skills.
