Location: Birmingham City Centre, Hybrid Working Week

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent contract 37.5 hrs a week. Term Time only contract will be considered

Salary: 21,000+ based on experience

Commission: Commission scheme in place

Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays.

The Role

We are looking for two motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for school leavers or individuals looking to start a career in recruitment. No previous experience is required-just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills. Together, you will work alongside experienced recruiters, learning the foundations of the recruitment industry while supporting the team with key administrative and candidate engagement tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Updating and maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate candidate and client information
  • Making outbound calls to schools and candidates to keep records up to date and build relationships
  • Assisting with the creation and posting of job adverts across various platforms
  • Supporting general administrative tasks within the office
  • Learning how to match candidates to suitable roles
  • Assisting with writing and reformatting Candidate CV's
  • Assisting with marketing and candidate attraction activities
  • Providing excellent customer service to both clients and candidates

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in any of the following - recruitment, customer service, sales, or team environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good English and Maths skills (minimum A-Level or equivalent)
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence speaking on the phone
  • Ability to drive is advantageous to facilitate client visits
