The Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encourage students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Promote lifelong participation in physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Monitor, assess, and support student progress to maximise achievement
- Contribute to an exciting and inclusive PE curriculum
- Support extracurricular activities, sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions
- Play an active role within the wider school community
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it
- Have the ability to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Possess strong communication and organisational abilities
- Have high expectations of achievement, participation, and behaviour
- Be enthusiastic about school sport and extracurricular activities
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Be a positive and collaborative member of the PE department
