This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner to teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to embrace healthy lifestyles, develop confidence and resilience, and participate fully in both curriculum and extracurricular sport. The Role

  • Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students to develop teamwork, confidence, leadership and resilience.
  • Promote participation in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.
  • Support the continued development of an inclusive and engaging PE curriculum.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.
  • Be confident delivering PE across KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Have high expectations of student achievement and participation.
  • Be enthusiastic about extracurricular sport and school enrichment activities.
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
