The MFL Department

The Modern Foreign Languages department is housed in a newly designed, purpose-built area with classrooms equipped to the highest standard. Due to an internal promotion, the successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive department led by an experienced and inspiring Head of MFL.

The Role - Teacher of French

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 & KS4.
  • Inspire, motivate, and challenge students of varying abilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the MFL curriculum.
  • Use ICT and modern resources to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
  • Work as part of a dedicated departmental team to raise achievement and maintain high standards.

Person Specification

The school is seeking a French Teacher who:

  • Is dynamic, motivated, and passionate about language teaching.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering excellent lessons and raising pupil achievement.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.
  • Can work collaboratively within the MFL team while also taking initiative.
  • Is an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking their first teaching post.
