The Role
- Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop their understanding of programming, coding and computational thinking.
- Teach a broad range of computing topics, including Python programming and digital technologies.
- Plan and deliver challenging lessons that cater for learners of all abilities.
- Monitor, assess and support student progress to maximise achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote excellent behaviour, engagement and academic standards.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school community.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge, including programming and coding principles.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Has a genuine passion for technology and digital education.
- Can motivate, inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
- Is committed to raising achievement and delivering high-quality teaching.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
