Clarence Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and motivated Computer Science / ICT Teacher for an immediate start at a secondary school in Staffordshire. This role offers the opportunity to join an established and well-resourced ICT department and has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will ideally be able to deliver Computer Science and/or ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 where experience allows. The school provides a positive and enriching working environment, where students thrive both academically and socially. A broad and balanced curriculum is offered, with a strong emphasis on core subjects and the development of each pupil's individual talents and potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science and ICT lessons
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that support pupil progress
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and achievement
  • Contribute positively to the work of the ICT department
  • Support extracurricular and enrichment activities where appropriate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and/or ICT
