This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Science department, teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, alongside Biology to GCSE and potentially A-Level for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be passionate about inspiring curiosity, scientific enquiry, and academic achievement in students. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a Biology specialism
- Be confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Have the ability to teach Biology at KS5 (desirable)
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about science education and student progress
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be a collaborative and proactive member of the department
