The Role
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising designated areas.
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene throughout the school.
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
- Following all school health and safety procedures.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the site team.
- Working efficiently as part of a team to ensure school facilities remain clean and presentable.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience within schools, commercial premises or similar environments.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Professional references covering the previous three years.
- Good communication skills and a positive, reliable approach to work.
