We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join a successful and supportive team in a school in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging participation in sport, and delivering engaging, high-quality PE lessons that enable all students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong participation in physical activity.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and sporting events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and inclusive PE curriculum.
Requirements:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve it.
- Has the ability to teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular sport and enrichment opportunities.
