Clarence Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Male PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced Physical Education department, delivering high-quality PE lessons across the secondary age range. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork and healthy lifestyles, and will contribute positively to both curriculum PE and the wider sporting life of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a broad range of sporting activities in line with the national curriculum
- Promote positive behaviour, teamwork and participation
- Assess and monitor pupil progress in Physical Education
- Contribute to extracurricular sport, fixtures and enrichment activities
- Support the ongoing development of the PE department
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level
- Ability to deliver inclusive and engaging PE lessons for pupils of all abilities
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sport and school teams
