The Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
Working closely with teachers and school staff, you will
- Support children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with their learning activities.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to build confidence and promote progress.
- Assist children with additional learning needs where required.
- Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage good behaviour and positive social development.
- Prepare classroom resources and support day‑to‑day classroom organisation.
- Promote pupil wellbeing, independence and a love of learning.

- The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
- GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
