We're working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Leicester to recruit an exceptional Health & Social Care Teacher to join their successful Social Science department ASAP.

This is a standout opportunity to deliver high-quality vocational education, teaching BTEC Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4-5, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress into healthcare careers.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging, practical, and industry-informed lessons in Health & Social Care
  • Teach BTEC Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Prepare students for further study, apprenticeships, and healthcare professions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Level 6 qualification in a healthcare-related field
  • Occupational experience in healthcare (e.g. nursing, clinical practice, health sector lecturing)
  • Proven ability to teach Health & Social Care programmes
  • Experience delivering BTEC Health & Social Care (advantageous)
  • Committed to raising attainment and improving learner outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resilient
