Clarence Recruitment is seeking General Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers to support a range of secondary schools across the Leicestershire area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people aged 11-16 and a good understanding of the National Curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain engaged in learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Provide vital support to schools across the region during staff absence.

This role is ideal for individuals considering a future in teaching and wanting to gain valuable school-based experience before beginning a PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct programme.

  • Have experience working with young people aged 11-16.
  • Possess good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Are enthusiastic, confident, and able to manage a classroom effectively.
