We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant in Lincoln to support students across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
- Assist students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement.
- Prepare classroom resources and assist with classroom organisation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
- Is patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work effectively as part of a team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
