Clarence Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a secondary school in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons within a supportive and well-established Humanities department. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop an understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophical thinking, while encouraging respectful discussion and critical analysis. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs/NQTs, and overseas-trained teachers with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a broad and balanced RE curriculum in line with national expectations
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Encourage thoughtful discussion, debate, and independent thinking
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school initiatives
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education or Humanities
- Experience teaching RE at secondary school level
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
