We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Art & Design Teacher in Lincoln to join a thriving and supportive department from the start of the new academic term. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator who is committed to nurturing creativity, imagination, and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop their artistic skills, confidence, and appreciation for the visual arts.

The Role

  • Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
  • Plan and deliver a varied curriculum that challenges and supports students of all abilities.
  • Encourage creativity through a wide range of artistic techniques, materials, and creative processes.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement and development.
  • Play an active role within the department by contributing to exhibitions, enrichment activities, and educational visits.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students are encouraged to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards achieving it.
  • A degree in Art & Design or a closely related subject.
  • Excellent subject knowledge with a genuine enthusiasm for creative learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and high standards of achievement for all learners.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
