We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Teacher of Art & Design to join a successful and supportive department in the new academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about developing students' creativity, confidence, and artistic skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver a broad, creative curriculum that enables all students to achieve their potential.
  • Inspire students through a range of artistic disciplines, techniques, and media.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress using effective feedback and assessment strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department through enrichment activities, exhibitions, and educational visits.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student can succeed.

Requirements:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it.
  • Has a degree or relevant qualification in Art & Design or a related subject.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and high expectations for student achievement.
  • Is committed to inclusive teaching and ensuring all learners can flourish.
  • Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community.
