This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and students, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to raise attainment, build confidence, and promote positive learning outcomes. Your Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across a range of curriculum areas
- Deliver targeted interventions to small groups and individual learners
- Assist students with varying abilities, including those requiring additional support
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
We Are Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous school-based experience supporting children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Confidence supporting students with a range of educational needs
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to use initiative
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
