As part of a successful and supportive PE department, you will deliver engaging lessons, encourage participation both inside and outside the classroom, and play a key role in promoting a positive sporting culture across the school. The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Deliver energetic and engaging PE lessons that inspire students to participate, progress and enjoy physical activity
• Motivate students of all abilities to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health and wellbeing
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing support and challenge to help every learner achieve their potential
• Lead and promote a wide range of extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures and enrichment opportunities
• Foster teamwork, leadership, respect and sportsmanship both in lessons and through sporting activities
• Help students develop key life skills through participation in sport and physical education
• Support and contribute to school-wide sporting events, tournaments and competitions
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive sporting culture that encourages achievement, participation and personal growth
• Inspire students to challenge themselves, celebrate success and develop a passion for an active and healthy lifestyle
