This can be across KS1 to KS4. The Role As a Part-Time Cover Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive classroom environment and promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects. Managing classroom behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning environment. Encouraging pupil participation and engagement throughout lessons. Following school policies and procedures. Providing feedback on pupil progress and lesson outcomes where required. Supporting students to achieve their learning objectives. Adapting quickly to different school settings and classroom environments. The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching within UK schools. Demonstrates strong classroom management skills. Is adaptable, organised, and confident teaching different year groups. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
