JOB TITLE: Health & Social Care Teacher START DATE: Jan 26 LOCATION: Leicester CONTRACT: Long-term supply (two terms) KEY STAGES: KS4 & KS5 CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary ABOUT THE SCHOOL We are working with an oversubscribed, 11β18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent local reputation. THE ROLE β HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE TEACHER The school is seeking a motivated, well-qualified and inspirational Health & Social Care Teacher to join its successful and supportive Social Science Department. You will deliver Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, making this an ideal opportunity for both newly qualified teachers and experienced practitioners who wish to teach BTEC or A-Level content. The ability to offer Psychology or Sociology alongside Health & Social Care would be an advantage (but not esential). This role is to cover an absence within the department. You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons, inspire learners, and contribute fully to the continued development and success of the Social Science team. PERSON SPECIFICATION To be considered, you must: * Hold QTS, QTLS, or be an Overseas Trained Teacher with qualifications recognised by UK NARIC. * The School will consider Unqualified Teachers * Demonstrate the ability to engage, motivate and challenge students. * Show commitment to maintaining high standards of achievement and contributing to a progressive department.
