Clarence Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Coventry to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology Teacher for the new academic year starting September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging Sociology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Sociology at secondary level (KS4/KS5 preferred)
- Be passionate about social sciences and current social issues
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Have the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
- Show commitment to raising attainment and student progress
- Have excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Be a collaborative team player
