Clarence Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join the Design and Technology Department at a large secondary school in Coventry.
The successful candidate will take on a full-time teaching timetable, primarily delivering Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for those who wish to extend their teaching experience. The school is keen to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to supporting continued school improvement and who is eager to play an active role within the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess engaging and effective lessons
- Monitor and support pupil progress and attainment
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute positively to the Design and Technology department
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (A-Level desirable but not essential)
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and committed teaching approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
