Clarence Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons within a supportive and well-resourced department.

The successful candidate will inspire pupils to develop practical, creative and technical skills across a range of specialisms within Design and Technology and will contribute positively to the wider life of the school. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs/NQTs and overseas-trained teachers with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach a broad and balanced Design and Technology curriculum (specialisms welcomed)
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the Design and Technology department
  • Support enrichment activities and wider school initiatives where appropriate

Requirements
