IT Support Technician

The successful candidate will have a thorough and broad IT background. The IT team at Meachers is relatively small, so you would be expected to work independently and under your own initiative, but with guidance from other members of the team.

The job involves support of an IT infrastructure spanning several locations, including approximately 110 client PCs, 23 servers, and various peripheral devices.

The Role Is Varied, But Core Elements Include

• Windows Server/Active Directory/Group Policy
• Windows 11
• M365 Administration
• Hyper‑V Virtual Servers
• Veeam Backup & Replication
• SQL database administration / Crystal Reports
• TCP/IP, DNS, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, VPNs, etc
• Support of Mobile Devices (Phones, Tablets, Scanning Devices)

Occasional travel will be necessary, so the successful candidate must hold a full current driving licence.
