Full Time Opportunity for competent HGV Driver. Competitive Pay Rate £691.20 per week. Plus Nights Out Allowance (Overtime Available).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the loading of the vehicle to ensure products are safely loaded and secured.
- Ensure load correctness against customer orders and documentation.
- Ensure safe delivery and respect customer property.
- Check goods off with customers and obtain signature and printed name.
- Mark errors and consult Traffic Office as appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle issues effectively.
- Carry out deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
- Drive the vehicle safely, in accordance with the law, SSOW, tachograph law and driver hours limits.
- Look after the vehicle, maintain cleanliness of the cab, and comply with fuel directives.
- Report accidents immediately and complete vehicle daily inspection sheet.
Qualifications
- British driving licence, valid CPC and Digi card.
- No more than 6 points on licence; no previous DR or DD endorsements.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
