This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious high achiever to join the group function of a leading Life Insurer and gain exposure to cutting edge ALM & Financial Risk work.
Ideal Profile:
- FIA / CFA with a highly inquisitive mindset
- ALM / Capital / Investment Risk experience with a good understanding of an Insurance Balance Sheet and Solvency II (Matching Adjustment)
- Exceptional communication and senior stakeholder management skills. You will be in a high-profile team that reports all the way through to the Group CFO
- Knowledge of Investments would be preferred but this can be taught
- Strategic thinking. You will have a consultant mindset with the drive to seek out problems and solve them. You will then need to communicate findings in an effective manner
- The line manager could potentially consider someone from an LDI background. You would need to demonstrate in interview a lot of reading up on an Insurance Balance Sheet and Solvency II
- The ideal level of experience will be in the 7-10 years' range
