Clarence George is working with a new entrant in the UK BPA market on an exciting Actuarial Reporting Manager position within their Chief Actuary team. This role will report directly to the Deputy Chief Actuary and will provide excellent experience and growth within the BPA market.

Role:

  • Lead the actuarial reporting process – production and testing of results on Solvency II, GAAP, and IFRS
  • Manage the Actuarial Reporting Team and lead on the production of financial reports
  • Work with other actuarial teams, including contributing to the management of risk

Profile:

  • Qualified Actuary (or nearly qualified with sufficient experience)
  • Experience with insurance financial reporting and working within life insurance or pensions – knowledge of Solvency II, UK GAAP and/or IFRS17
  • Strong understanding of actuarial modelling systems and/or financial projections and analytical skills
  • Well-developed report writing skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent time and people management skills
