Self-Employed Visiting Music Teacher (VMT) – Piano at Claremont Fan Court School, Esher, Surrey. Permanent. Closing date: 9:00am Thursday 2 October 2025.

Claremont Fan Court School is seeking enthusiastic and experienced visiting music teachers to deliver one-to-one piano lessons from Year 1 upwards, starting as soon as possible. VMTs are self-employed, and the contract for provision of lessons is made directly between parents/carers and the VMT. We are looking for musicians who will uphold Claremont\’s values and foster an inclusive environment where music is accessible for all. VMTs are expected to deliver high quality, enjoyable lessons, inspiring and engaging pupils of all musical abilities across the Junior and Senior School.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one piano lessons to pupils from Year 1 upwards, starting as soon as possible.
• Provide high-quality, enjoyable lessons that are engaging for pupils of all musical abilities across the Junior and Senior School.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching piano up to Grade 8.
• A strong background in music.
