A leading tech company are looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to join their Data Management team to support the delivery of data privacy and data protection across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with tech engineering teams on Privacy matters as well as the wider business. This is a permanent role with hybrid working model based in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the Data Privacy Framework to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Data Privacy Manager in ensuring the Data Asset Catalogue is comprehensive, up to date, and has clear ownership.
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of procedures and controls necessary to manage data assets effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and support the Data Management Practice Leads.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Data Privacy Hub based on OneTrust.
  • Support the enhancement of data privacy controls to ensure risks are managed within the organisations risk appetite by defining and reporting on key metrics.
  • Support the implementation of access controls, anonymization, and obfuscation processes.
  • Contribute to data retention and minimization processes and programs.
  • Assist in any other GDPR principle-focused workstreams that emerge.

Experience required:

  • Understanding of data privacy principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid GDPR knowledge and understanding.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units.
  • CIPP certification is preferred.
  • Any experience with OneTrust is advantageous but not essential.
