Offshore Wind Structural Engineer with Mandarin. Based in UK or Europe. Our client is currently seeking talented Structural Engineer who is fluent in Mandarin to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project. This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Offshore Wind Foundation design.
Essential Requirements:
- Structural engineering experience for the Offshore Wind sector.
- Fluent in Mandarin.
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in Design Engineering of Monopiles or Jackets.
- Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures.
- Design of Primary or Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind.
- Transportation & Installation for OWF & Fabrication & Construction.
- Loads Analysis, specifically offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
- Experience in Owner’s Engineering, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management.
- Certifications from agencies like DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, etc.
- Offshore Wind Foundation design practices and developments.
- Offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
- Ideally Chartered Engineer / progressing towards chartered status.
