Manage the design, manufacturing, fabrication and installation of offshore wind monopiles. This is a wide-ranging and senior manager role overseeing the design & engineering phase, manufacture/fabrication, and finally installation in the Far East.
We are seeking candidates who have acted as C&I Manager for foundation installation projects within Offshore Wind, involving monopiles. You should have documented excellent results and feel comfortable taking on leadership roles at high levels. You will enjoy working autonomously within a flat organisational structure characterised by short reporting lines, quick decisions, and a can-do attitude.
You will possess good people skills and the ability to effectively manage diverse teams to get the best out of everyone involved. You should have several Offshore Wind monopile construction and installation projects in the past and an excellent track record in the industry.
Responsibilities include supervising the construction of installation tools and taking them offshore for projects in the Far East. Extensive monopile installation experience is required, along with comfort in supervising the fabrication of the kit used to install the monopiles.
As Monopile Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for planning and executing the offshore execution phase of large and complex T&I projects within Offshore Wind. You will oversee, supervise, and execute all mobilization, transport & installation, and demobilization activities safely and on schedule.
This role requires an experienced engineer to oversee the design and fabrication of all tools required to install the monopiles, leading to overseeing the installation operations using these tools: lifting tool for upending and setdown of MP grippers used to support the MP during setdown and MP driving.
Advantageous skills include knowledge of transportation cradles and grillages to support the MP/drilling requirements and tools to facilitate UK contracts, with travel to the EU & Asia. The duration of the contract is 1-2 years.
It is essential to have extensive offshore wind monopile construction and installation experience, as well as enough seniority to be credible to oversee work.
