Construction & Installation Manager – Offshore Wind Monopiles
Manage the design, manufacturing, fabrication and installation of offshore wind monopiles. This is a wide-ranging senior manager role overseeing the Design & Engineering phase, Manufacture/Fabrication and Installation in the Far East. Requires experience in monopile design, construction and installation for offshore wind.
Experience / Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have already acted as C&I Manager for foundation installation projects within Offshore Wind, involving monopiles. You should have documented excellent results and be comfortable taking on leadership roles at high levels. You will work autonomously within a flat organizational structure with short reporting lines, quick decisions and a can-do attitude.
You will have good people skills and the ability to effectively manage diverse teams to get the best out of everyone involved. You will have several offshore wind monopile construction and installation projects in the past with an excellent track record in the industry. You must have extensive monopile installation experience and be comfortable supervising the fabrication of the kit used to install the monopiles. You will take responsibility for planning and executing the offshore execution phase of large and complex T&I projects within offshore wind. You will oversee/supervise and execute all mobilization, transport, installation and demobilization activities safely and on schedule. An engineer is required to oversee the design and fabrication of all tools required to install the monopiles, leading to overseeing the installation operations using these tools.
Key Tools & Responsibilities
- Lifting Tool for upending and setdown of MP
- Grippers used to support the MP during setdown and MP driving
Advantage: transportation cradles and grillages to support the MP/drilling requirements and tools to facilitate.
Contract & Travel
UK Contract: with travel to EU & Asia. Duration: 1-2 years.
NB: it is essential to have extensive offshore wind monopile construction and installation experience as well as enough seniority to be credible to oversee work.
