The Role: Senior role for Civil / Structural / Naval / Mechanical engineer with Transportation & Installation experience in Marine / Offshore T&I. Capable of making the step up to lead a UK office for Leading Engineering Consultancy. This is a wide ranging and lead role - mix of business development, strategy, and management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree or similar
- Marine / Offshore engineering sales experience
- Civil / Structural / Mechanical engineering in Marine / Offshore Environment
- Offshore Energy Transportation & Installation (O&G/ wind turbine T&I)
- Equipment used in installation/ transportation/ lifting of large heavy Steel Structures (e.g. Jackets / Monopiles)
- Excellent communicator: written, chairing meetings & presentations and client facing skills
Advantage to have any of the following:
- Excellent network within the energy sector which will provide strong potential for developing new business
- Engineering Management / Business Development / Commercial Management experience
- Certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas etc.
Essential to have civil/structural engineering experience in marine/offshore β ideally heavy equipment design/transportation/installation. Must have B Eng/ MEng Engineering degree in either Structural, Civil or Mechanical.
