Job Description: Senior Account Manager - Aerospace - Electrification Design engineering. UK
Salary + bonus + benefits + Account Manager - New Product Introduction for Aerospace electrification projects. You will need to have good account manager experience with a background as a mechanical engineer in Design Engineering – ideally electrification projects in Aerospace, Automotive (EV), Rail, Offshore Renewables or similar.
Role: You will manage key accounts for Aerospace Projects – with a sales target to deliver ROI for all. Working alongside clients with teams in Sales, NPI, Product, Application Engineers & Design Engineers. Complete design and analysis of electro-mechanical systems: specialising in electrification, including electrical machine design and analysis, electromechanical system integration and control. These groundbreaking new software & engineering design tools are being adopted by leading OEMs in Aerospace, Automotive, Rail & Renewable Energy worldwide. Your focus is on achieving business results. To ensure long-term success and profitability, you will analyze the project portfolio, evaluate project flow, publish reports and conduct review meetings to keep projects on track and prioritise.
Essential Experience:
- Sales/Account Manager experience – full lifecycle.
- Commercial responsibility & managing budgets.
- Engineering background in aerospace (ideally OEMs eg Airbus, Rolls Royce, Bombardier).
- BEng Engineering – Mechanical.
- Mechanical – ideally rotating machinery eg gearbox, transmissions, drivetrain.
- Client management & negotiation experience, eg contracts.
- Full ownership and account management for key clients in aerospace.
- Aerospace Electrification in transport eg Rail, Automotive, Energy, Renewables, Wind or similar.
Please note that this senior role is only for experienced Account Managers with a background and degree in Mechanical Engineering – ideally Aerospace/Electrification in transport eg Rail or Automotive.
