As Senior/Lead/Principal Engineer for a leading engineering consultancy, you will specialise in foundations and steel design for offshore wind turbines, including stress, FE, loads modelling, and complete design of large offshore foundations such as jackets, monopiles, and steel towers.

You will have offshore wind structural engineering experience at a senior level, particularly in the detailed analysis and design of foundations in the offshore wind sector. It is essential to have this experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Offshore wind engineering experience - Structural engineering.
  • Mechanical/Structural/Civil Engineering degree.
  • Experience with offshore wind turbine foundations (Jackets/Monopiles/Floating).
  • Advantageous to have experience with primary steel structures, e.g., steel towers.
  • Geotechnical loads analysis - offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
  • Experience as Owner's Engineer, Package Management, Engineering Management, or Contract Management.
  • Familiarity with certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, and Bureau Veritas.
