Electrical Engineering Principal / Tech Lead / Project Manager – Offshore Wind. Role: Project Manager and Lead Electrical Engineer for power and transmission of offshore wind farms. Tech lead for power and transmission services for offshore wind farm design and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering, procurement and construction of power and transmission for offshore wind farms.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on offshore wind projects (tech input to procurement, BD, supply chains, tenders, bids, design engineers, consultancies).
- Bring in new technology, increase efficiency and help win new business.
Qualifications:
- Education – Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- FEED – managing engineering design teams for offshore wind projects.
- Experience – Offshore wind power and transmission projects.
- Project Management skills.
- Knowledge of systems, processes and standards for delivery of offshore wind farms.
- Offshore substation platform knowledge.
