The Role
- Supply chain management
- Negotiation with suppliers
- Reducing total Cost of Bill of Materials (CBOM)
- Managing procurement best practices
- Working with Management, Engineering, Sales and Operations & other internal departments
- Supporting the product life cycle management process
- Using tools and metrics to optimize the supply chain – collecting and analysing data, drawing conclusions and presenting findings
- Managing and improving systems, processes and products
Experience Required
- BEng Engineering – Electrical, Electronic, Automation or Mechanical
- Supply chain management experience
- Experience reducing total Cost of Bill of Materials (CBOM)
- Proficient in mainstream PC desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Advantage: Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic engineering experience in a technical environment (e.g., electronic boards purchasing)
- Background/technical understanding in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering and experience in IoT/Electronic Boards/High‑volume electronics
