Project/ Programme/ Product Manager - New Product Introduction for Aerospace electrification projects. You will need to have strong & formal experience as Project Manager in Aerospace Engineering – ideally Airbus.
You will manage projects, budgets and customers for the complete design and analysis of electro‑mechanical systems, specialising in electrification, including electrical machine design and analysis, electromechanical system integration and control. These groundbreaking new software and engineering design tools are being adopted by leading OEMs in Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Renewable Energy worldwide. Your focus is on achieving business results. To ensure long‑term success and profitability, you will analyze the project portfolio, evaluate project flow, publish reports and conduct review meetings to keep projects on track and prioritize.
Essential Experience
- Formal Project Manager experience – full responsibility for project delivery
- Commercial responsibility and managing budgets
- Engineering background in aerospace (ideally Airbus)
- BEng Engineering – Electrical or Mechanical
- Prince2 / Agile
- Excel / VBA: data‑driven role
- Project management qualification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent)
- Supply chain management and negotiation experience, e.g. contracts
- Full ownership and accountability of solution delivery projects
- NPI / PLM for Aerospace
