Mechanical Engineering Finite Element Analysis for analysis of Automotive Drivetrain, Mechatronic, and electromechanical powertrain/transmission systems for Electric Vehicles. OEMs & Tier 1 Automotive EV.
Play a leading role in a team delivering game-changing electro-mechanical drivetrain solutions for EV, specialising in the design of electromechanical system integration and control, powertrain, transmission, gearbox, and Electromechanical Actuation systems for EV.
These groundbreaking new software and engineering design tools are being adopted by leading OEMs in Automotive, Rail, and Renewable Energy worldwide.
- FE Analysis for Mechatronic, electromechanical powertrain/transmission systems for Electric Vehicles – Automotive OEM & Tier 1
- Electric Vehicle design of: Transmission, Gearbox, Drivetrain, Actuation systems, rotating machinery, Electromechanical Actuation systems
- Full project schedule ownership from design, creation to delivery
- Working with clients and suppliers
- Design Engineering
Essential Experience Required:
- FE Analysis (using e.g. Ansys Workbench, Altair Hyperworks or similar)
- NVH
- BEng/MEng Engineering – ideally Mechanical, Mechatronic or electromechanical, or Electrical, Electronic, Automotive or similar.
Advantage:
- Experience in design of rotating machinery – any of transmission, drivetrain, powertrain, gearbox, actuators, motors
- Systems integration, electronic drive systems.
Please note that this role is only for Mechanical Engineers with FE and ideally experience in rotating machinery – ideally EV/Hybrid vehicles.
