Lead Programmer for software tools for a leading Renewable Engineering Company. It is essential to have OO software coding & structural engineering experience – any of Java/ C++/ C#, VB/ Python.
The Company:

The Role:
- Lead programmer for new software tool for offshore wind.
- You will be leading development of offshore wind turbine foundations concept design tool.
- You will enjoy the challenge of creating code, and have experience with codes such as Matlab, Python or similar.
- Foundations & steel design for offshore wind turbines – stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations (e.g. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers).
- Supported by experienced offshore structural engineers, who will help shape the direction of the development with you.
Essential Experience:
- Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree.
- Offshore Wind engineering experience.
- Experienced programmer using Matlab &/ Python.
- Structural engineering.
Advantage to have any of the following:
- DNV’s SESAM-GENIE.
- Dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundation (Jackets / Monopiles / Floating).
- Steel Structures e.g. Steel towers.
- Geotechnical.
